About Us


Our customers choose to come to us because we truly care about the backstory behind each build. Oftentimes there’s a lot of emotion involved with those stories and we want to help pass that along for generations to come.

 

Our story begins with our owner, Chad Kromrey.  Chad’s passion for vehicles started at an early age when his older brother Joe passed away. One of the things Joe left behind was his Chevy pickup. After his passing, Chad used to drive the truck to remember him, revving it up like Joe used to, maybe doing a few burnouts too. The truck held a lot of memories for Chad and his family and they still have it today.

 

Years later, Chad restored a 1957 Chevy Stake Truck that was originally used to start his parents landscaping business, he remembers the truck vividly as a child and worked hard to preserve it for his family and to pass along to his own children in the future.

 

We live our passion and mission and because of this, Kromrey Kustoms and Performance was launched in 2010. Since then, we have worked to grow our team with talented technicians, engineers, builders, painters, and machinists.

Our team doesn’t believe in doing something just to get it done, but if you're going to do it, you're going to do it right. We encourage our crew to hone their skills by frequently cross-training, we also teach and promote to 5 different skill levels during a career with Kromrey Kustoms:

Angel Autos

 

Our team supports Angel Autos, a local non-profit that assists single, working moms in obtaining reliable transportation so they can achieve self-sufficiency and improve their situation.

 

Kromrey Kustoms donates our skills, labor and parts to fix broken or donated vehicles making sure that they will be reliable and safe.  

 

We are passionate about providing safe vehicles for these moms and their children because our owner, Chad, lost his brother Joe in an automotive accident at a young age.
